What happens during this phase?
We formalize the partnership, align on timeline and costs, and prepare your project plan. Everything is transparent before work begins.
What are our publisher deliverables during this phase?
WE DELIVER:
Author agreement (outlining everything discussed in the consultation in easy to understand plain language.)
Production cost / invoice (we typically start production with a 50% deposit but all costs are clearly explained before the project begins so there are no surprises.)
Editorial assessment (our editorial team determines what level of editing is required to ensure your manuscript is publish-ready.)
Note: For teen authors, parent/guardian signature is required.
Every phase has clear deliverables on both sides. You always know what's happening and what's next.
